The madcap adventure begins November 1st with over 70,000 registered participants. It's not too late to join the exuberant imperfection that characterizes National Novel Writing Month. Included in that count are all five Kindred Heart Writers!Karen plans to "get a character and see what happens" just like she did last year. That means a quirky protagonist brimming with personality.
Laura researched an idea that "came to me last summer." She's starting NaNo with a synopsis and twelve chapter titles that will guide her writing.
A secondary character from Johnnie's 2008 novel gets the starring role this time around. She's starting with a broad outline and pages of research notes.
Our NaNo Rebels
Clella and Jeanie, in their own words, are "apprehensive" rebels.
Just Thinking is the title for Clella's collection of meditative pearls on Christian living for women.
Jeanie plans to develop an idea while admitting she has no idea where she's going!

I dreamed turning a novella into a novel in the second half of October. Don't think I'll even complete that, and with all the November visitors, NaNo's a non-starter. Still, best wishes to all those entering.
