Here's the situation. We are in the playoffs tonight. We must win to keep going. This is our last chance.
Back story: Rays have been on the road for 2 weeks playing. Plus to reach this series against the Boston Red Sox, they had to win 2 one-game playoffs. And they did!! But this series, is the best out of five games. Aaaaannnnnd, they've lost the first two.
They are playing at home tonight. It's do or die. So the stadium is sold out for tonight!
Now this is just how a book should be written. A crescendo with increasing odds, or the main thoughts adding up to a good ending. You must make sure the ending equals or exceeds the body of the book. If you don't, the reader will be let down.
So if you read this today, follow the Rays and see if they give me a storybook ending, or disappointment.
This is how I want the game to end, and how I like my books to end. Congratulations all around and a good feeling to come back to the stadium/author again.
We met at the 2007 Florida Christian Writers Conference and knew that God had brought us together. From that beginning, we have encouraged, supported and critiqued each other's writing ministries. Now we are more than an online writing group...we are kindred hearts involved in all aspects of each other's successes and heartaches, both as writers and as friends. Our goal is to bring glory to God with the words we write. Join us for an up close and personal glimpse into the joys and struggles of five women attempting to do God's will with the written word.
